What does the ability "it will remain set to resting the next time it would be switched to active" do?

This ability forces the card to remain set to resting on one occasion when it would be switched to active, such as during the player's start phase or end phase, or when the card is affected by an ability that switches it to active.

It means if you refer to the BP of a character card with 3000 BP in your hand with one of your abilities, you may treat it as if it has 4000 BP.

If you reveal a character card with 4000 BP from your hand and place it on the bottom of your deck, you may choose up to one character on your opponent's front line with BP equal to or less than 4000 and sideline it.
