After I have chosen a character for the ability "choose up to one character with 5000 or less BP on your opponent's front line and sideline it" for this [When Attacking] ability, can my opponent choose "Your opponent may place seven cards from their sideline into their removal area"?
No. Your opponent chooses first whether or not to perform "Your opponent may place seven cards from their sideline into their removal area." If they don't choose it, you perform "choose up to one character with 5000 or less BP on your opponent's front line and sideline it."
